Welcome to the Instructional Coaching Cache

After months of reading and research on educational best practice as well as classroom observations I have so many exciting things to share with you.  We are all such busy people and my time with you is limited to short chunks of rushed time at the occasional staff meeting.  This blog is my attempt to better my communication with you and share with you all the things that I have learned.  My hope is that you will find the blog helpful and that it can be used to enrich your teaching practice.

Since we are already 7 months into the school year I want to quickly summarize the instructional focuses so far this year.

September/October:  The Classroom Environment

Daily bell schedule
Assignment accessibility
Learning goal/objective posed
Bulletin boards and posters that support instruction
Agenda/activities for the day
Quality student work with rubric
Vocabulary/word walls
Room arrangement supports instruction
Positive expectations posted

November/December:  Focusing of Learning Goals/Objectives
Learning Targets

January/February/March:  Discovering Digital Devices

My wikispace has all of the resources that were shared with you over the past 7 months.  Feel free to click on the link, browse and make any additional copies you would like.
